lam2008 Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 A few months ago I downloaded AutoCAD 2011 from the Autodesk website and everything was perfect... until a few weeks ago. When I click on the line tool and select a location to start my line and then move my mouse to change the angle it glitches and does not move in a fluid motion like it should. It moves in a 'jumpy' manner and is slow to respond to me chaning the angle. It seems like the program is trying to update the change in angle or refresh. Like I said, it moves slow and is very annoying. However, when I'm not making a line the program runs fine. This also happens when I use the measure tool and when I'm trying to 'extend' a line. But the most confusing part is sometimes it won't do this at all and will run fine with no glitches, not jumping, nothing.... but then a few minutes later it will go back to glitching. Help please!! Dana W Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 Look at your drafting settings, particularly the object and polar snaps. The cursor is probably clicking off the snaps at increments one by one. Quote
