Hey guys!! I'm back and I've got another question..

I'm about to print my complete electrical plan and I was thinking on how to put them together and make it appear on an parchment/tracing paper..

I'm using 20x30 inches tracing paper and my problem is how to print my work without wasting any paper...

I borrowed a big printer for works like this.. I know how to use it but I'm not quite sure if the printing is gonna hit the right spot :/

:::::::

I made a border on my work and I'm a bit unsure if its really 18x28 to fit 20x30

How do I print my work on a tracing paper with borders

additional::

is it better to project some lines with colors so that it would be easier to know which and where things are located/placed when looked in the legend??(after print)

18x28 should work just centre plot, use a paperspace layout tab and plot at 1:1 with mview windows you will need to pick your sheet size though for the plotter to work you can add custom sheet sizes if 20x30 is not in the list.

Depending on the type and quality of the paper, as well as the printer, size may be the least of your problems. You didn't say what sort of printer it was, but an inkjet will most likely have a considerable amount of bleed through if you are using actual tracing paper. It's very thin and won't take a lot of ink before it messes up. A laser printer will give you better lines, but if you ever fold the printed image, the toner may break off at the folds. Your experience my vary, but I've not had a lot of luck with the very thin papers. Parchment should work ok if its good quality. Good luck, I hope it comes out ok.
