Kremer
Hey there, I have had this issue before but it has never been a problem. Now it is just annoying the bajesus outta me. I am simply hitting the plus sign on an existing pipe, I draw any length of pipe at 90 degrees to it. MEP adds in the elbow, but the new length of pipe is not connected to the elbow (I get the triangle of enlightenment) and it seems no force of man can get the two points to connect. Why this annoys me is when I drag the new length of pipe to adjust it's location, the elbow (attached to the existing) remains in place. Anyone know what is causing this? dumfatnhappy
I call that "stale pipe". try copying everything say... 1000' in one direction, then delete the "previous" and move the new stuff back in place. can't tell you why it won't connect... I think that worked anyway
Kremer
Haha yeah, I come across "stale" pipes quite often. I wish Autodesk would address issues like that instead of moving onto the next year. But your fix works for me, though I often just resort to deleting a portion of the pipe and re-drawing it.
