junkie_ball Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Hi All, I'm sure this is an easy one just been along time. I've been ask to create a new set of drawing templates for a customer. On the layouts what i'm hoping to do is be able to print the title block in colour so the their logo is displayed in colour but the the viewports still need to be printed monochrome. Could anyone suggest how i can do this having a blonde moment here. Also for your info i'm currently using Autocad 2004 lt. Quote
rkent Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Put the logo on a unique layer, and assign a unique pen color to that layer, finally in your ctb file set that pen color to plot color instead of b/w. Quote
Dana W Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Put the logo on a unique layer, and assign a unique pen color to that layer, finally in your ctb file set that pen color to plot color instead of b/w. Create a new.ctb, copied from the one you are currently using before you do that. You wouldn't want to change one of the predefined plot styles (ctb's). Quote
rkent Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 When I said a unique pen color I was imagining them using a color that they don't normally assign, negating the need for yet another ctb. This is an example of why I like STBs. Quote
BIGAL Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 As posted previously as an example our colour pen settings are 1-9 monochrome 10-250 actual colour 251+ greys very simple to work with. Just draw your title block in colours 10-250. Quote
