BIGAL Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 This can also happen if your copy is not registered or if a network licence it will say can not find license manager and will close and 3rd the template thats to be opened on startup is corrupt. More details please re install etc Quote
Jadgpanther Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 Hi thanks for replies, pc spec is good, CAD was running ok on this machine, we had a virus, cleaned it off, maleware type, all seemed ok, but then we started losing network connection, we reinstalled NIC drivers, all seemed ok , that was when we tried CAD , and noticed the error. we also performed a XP repair function, I think the licence is corrupt , when we look in the log file in the APP Data directory, adskflex*.log, it gives an Event Code error, 'our service is disabled ' ? thanks Quote

MarcoW Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Remark, that you know to find this... pff I wouldn't know where to start. Quote
ReMark Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 It was plain dumb luck. I'm the Terminator not Gandolf. Quote
AFitchguy07 Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 I, too, had this issue. I found this thread where mark referenced the autodesk article which mentioned flexnet licensing service. Turns out I accidentally disabled "FLEXnet Licensing Service" and "FLEXnet Licensing Service 64" from start up. I had did a quick google search for flexnet and all that came up was adobe, so I disabled it. Just a suggestion for those who stumble upon this article in the future that may have un-ticked it during selective startup mode. Quote
