Hello all,

I am trying to label an object with the first 4 decimal places of a lat-long coordinate.

Unfortunately my tracker only shows 2 decimal places. DIMDEC is set to 4 but evidently that is separate from the tracker.

I know the tracker shows 4 decimal places on other drawings.

Anyone know how to change it?

Thanks.

Are you talking about the coordinate display in the status bar?

If so, explore the UNITS command and/or the LUPREC system variable.

Thanks,

LUPREC worked. I'm gonna have to write that down. For some reason it changes back to 2 decimals every now and then.

It's saved in the drawing, so unless you have some code changing it, it should stay once set.

For new drawings, set it in your template(s).

How about in the display window of the point in the drawing, how can I set it in 4-decimal places? Using label icon in autoland desktop taskbar (now civil 3D) a full down menu "Label North/East"
