Jpier Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Not enough room here to fully describe my problem, but sometimes I enter the hide command when I am working in 3D Modeling and I get very strange results. Is there a way to reverse this command and get back to how the drawing was before? I guess I could hit the undo icon, but is there another way? Quote
Tiger Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 doesn't HIDE only work til the next Regen? so when you zoom or pan next then the Hide will be gone anyway? Quote
Jpier Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 Thanks for your quick response. I did try typing REGEN and it did not seem to have the effect I wanted (to return the drawing to normal) However, in at least the most recent instance I had this problem, just hitting the undo icon reversed my problem. I did not think of that til I was describing my problem. Quote
ReMark Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 You could also do a Zoom > Window and force AutoCAD to regen without actually typing the command. Quote
f700es Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Are you using a Hide visual style? If you can zoom in and out, pan and rotate while in Hide you are using a Hidden Visual Style. You need to go back the 2D Wireframe Visual Style in your Visual Styles Manager or Visual Styles Tab. Sean Quote
rkent Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 You can use SHADEMODE, 2D, or VSCURRENT, 2D as well as the other suggestions for changing VisualStyles. Quote
