I have one sheet that i cannot open. For some reason it's locked. There's no one else working on the file... Please help...:o

And you tried unlocking it in the Layer Properties Manager and couldn't?

Oops. My mistake. You said "sheet" and I read that as "layer".

You're working with a Sheet Set?

Are you working on a network?

Are there other users on the network that could be working with this Sheet Set?

A solution that supposedly came from AutoDesk itself.

"Using Windows Explorer, browse to the folder where the sheet set file (.DST) is stored and look for a .DBL lock file. You can right-click the .DBL file and click Properties to see who owns it. That user could then close the sheet set manager as well as AutoCAD. Then they can delete the .DBL file on their end. Once that is done, the sheet set should be unlocked."

I'm working on a network, but there is no one else using the file. I'll try the thing you suggested and let you know. Thanks!

It could be that your server has somehow decided that the drawing is indeed "opened" and being worked on thus prevent you from accessing it. It happens on rare occasions.

I was able to go to the dwg's properties and see that it was writeprotected. Just turned it off and problem solved. Still don't know what happened in the first place... Thanks for your help...

Sometimes the easiest solution lies right before our eyes yet we fail to see it at frist glance.

Glad to hear your problem is solved.
