yekom Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I'm currently working with Carlson 2010 software (which runs on ACAD's platform), and everything is going fine when I suddenly realize that when I try to run the regular AutoCAD 2010 and type a regular AutoCAD command, it doesn't work and only recognizes Carlson's command menu. Apparently, I need to find a way to change this every time I run Carlson and conversely when running AutoCAD. Does anyone know how to load the regular AutoCAD command menu/platform? Quote
yekom Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Ok never mind, figured this out: to those who are using Carlson 2010 go to 'Settings-Quick Keys' and a new window will open where you can edit the commands to your preference. As for regular AutoCAD, you can go to 'Tools-Customize-Edit Program Parameters' and edit the .txt file to your preference. Quote
KJB Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Carlson software has a toolbar "Carlson Menu" to quickly changes menus between Vanilla CAD, Survey, Civil, GIS etc. etc. Quote
yekom Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Thanks for the replies, guys. As for the 'Carlson Menus', it only changes the basic menus, not the entire command platform. When Carlson is running, the quick keys entirely replace some of the common command aliases used in the regular ACAD, so you need to manually change this with the Quick Keys editor. Quote
