richie_008 Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 I am dragging a previous drawing (master 1st floor plan) into a sheet set that I've created, I right click to set the scale in the viewport, set it at 1/4"=1'-0". The drawing itself is at the right scale that I want it, but the dimension text all around is big and jumbled up together. I have tried changing the annotation scale in both, but I have had no luck. Any help? Master 1st floor plan.dwg Master 1st floor plan - Standard.zip Quote
richie_008 Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 maybe because I've been working on this too long, the answer should be obvious or so easy. I can't get it so I decided to ask the CAD gurus. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote
ReMark Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 Open DimStyle. Go to the Primary Units tab. Look at where it says Measurement. What is the setting for Scale Factor? Quote

nestly Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 When using annotative text, set your text height to the size you want it to print. Yours is currently 1/2", which is about 4x too large. http://screencast.com/t/4caZiQkHGz Quote
