Ubrigens Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Just updated to 2011 from 2006 version. Can't seem to find the plan view(world/ucs/???) from a 3D view. Autocad help says View then select option---but selecting view leaves me confused. Quote
ReMark Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 View Tab. Look on the Views or Coordinate Panels. Quote

ReMark Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 OK. Here you go. From your AutoCAD Help file: Procedure: To change the current view to the XY plane Click View menu > 3D Views > Plan View. Select one of the following options: Current (for the current UCS) World (for the WCS) Named (for a saved UCS) This assumes you have Show Menu Bar enabled. Quote
Ubrigens Posted November 11, 2010 Author Posted November 11, 2010 Hello Mark Good to note we've passed the silly answer to a silly question stage. Yes, the menubar was disabled-----Thank you,I think! Quote
ReMark Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 I tend to opt for the TOP view. You're welcomed. Quote
