Is there is an option to add Header/Footer to Layout tab

Is there is an option to add Header/Footer like in Word to Layout tab.

We have layouts that go for approval, it would be ideal to add Footer with document number , date, etc.

None that I am aware of. Why not just include that info on the tab itself?

That would add extra work, editting it at all times, we trying to get away from that

I'm sure it could be handled in some other fashion. Perhaps by using an invisible attribute, or a field or with a lisp routine.

 

If you wait long enough someone smarter than me will come along with a solution. Don't give up just yet.

How about using "plotstamp"?

Plot Stamp On. Turns on plot stamping and places a plot stamp on a specified corner of each drawing and/or logs it to a file. Plot stamp settings are specified in the Plot Stamp dialog box, where you can specify the information you want applied to the plot stamp, such as drawing name, date and time, plot scale, and so on. To open the Plot Stamp dialog box, select Plot Stamp On in the Plot dialog box, and then click the Plot Stamp Settings button.
