leel Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Hello, I use AutoCAD 2004 LT. Received an AutoCAD 2004 LT 2D drawing from a customer with some objects drawn on a layout. Can someone please tell how I can move these objects to model space? Thank you Quote
ReMark Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Switch to your layout and invoke the CHSPACE command. Follow the prompts on the command line. Quote
bonehead411 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Not sure CHSPACE was available in 2004 LT ReMark. leel, you may have to copy/paste & scale as/if required. Quote
Tiger Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 From a quick search, CHSPACE was availible first in 2007 - so Copy-paste + Scale looks like your best bet Leel. Quote
ReMark Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Oh ye of little faith. I can't speak for LT 2004 but full 2004 did indeed have a CHSPACE command. Quote
eldon Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I think that CHSPACE was originally an Express Tools command, and thus not available to LT Quote
Tiger Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 http://www.jtbworld.com/articles/Ritnytt%20AutoCAD%20ADT%202007.pdf CHSPACE was a Express tool up till 2007 - when it became included in full AutoCAD. I know the PDF is in Swedish, but that's what I found. Do you dare doubt JTB? Quote
ReMark Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 No I do not doubt JTB. All I said was that the command was available. I didn't say where it came from. Note: I typed it in at the command line and did not bother to check Express Tools. Since it came from Express Tools I agree that it is not available in LT. Quote
