Preciosu21 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I am working on a drawing that has several layouts and two of them have been rotated using the MVSETUP command, on these two layouts my elevations have been flipped upside down, essentially my viewport looks nothing like my model as it applies to my elevation shots, is there a setting somewhere that I can tell to keep these points as shown in the model, and why when you fix or rotate your elevations in the model using the correct scale and then go to you viewport it stacks them on top of each other as though you are using a different scale? BIGAL Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 We dont use mvsetup to rotate we just do plain viewports sq and polygons, it sounds like you need to use a UCS in your viewport to change the view direction make sure if picking a line that it has the same z on the ends and job will rotate nicely. If your job is upside down then you are answering the Z question as the opposite required and looking from underneath. A vpoint 1,1,1 is 45 horizontal 45 inclined. if I vpoint 1,1,-1 then I am looking from underneath. As above be carefull using ucs ob if picking 3D objects that means a line with different z's. Quote
