epond Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 So i had dimensions all over my drawing and they looked right. I th en edited one to add a +- to it and the text height all shrank and it's hard to read. When i go into dim edit the text height is grayed out and i can't change? Any ideas? Quote
CyberAngel Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 It sounds like a conflict between the dimension style and the text style. If you override the text style for a particular dimension, the height doesn't change. If the style's height is fixed (i.e. not zero), then it will be greyed out in the dimension properties and in the dimension style, meaning you can't change it there. You'll have to adjust the height in the text style, or create a new style for your dimensions. Don't forget to take DIMSCALE into account. Quote
Patrick Hughes Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Examine the DIMTFAC variable - it controls the tolerance text height. There may be other factors at play so look in your help file. Quote
