Rockford Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 How do you plot in mono (black) from a Layout with several layers of various colors without having to creat a Plot Layer State? Rockford Quote
Rob-GB Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 I just go to the pen assignments box and click on Monochrome.ctb. File> Plot> click on More options arrow (bottom right of dialogue box, this will make it wider) Top Right is PlotStyle Table (Pen Assignments) Select drop down box >Monochrome.ctb Hope this helps, Rob. Rockford Posted September 19, 2008 Author Posted September 19, 2008 Thanks Rob Seems like I tried that using Monochrome.stb (using Named Plot Styles) and had this problem; the colored layers ploted in various shades of gray instead of Black like I get when I create a Layer State in the Viewport to be plotted and change the actual Layer Color to White/Black. Rob-GB Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 Never had that happen to me....Yet! I'm using an HP Deskjet for most of my printing could it be a printer driver thing? Any other ideas Cad maestro's? Sorry am not more help. ( Just a thought, you didn't hit Greyscale by accident did you? Once hit a clients pen assignments and got some pretty pink lines. ) Rob. Quote
Rockford Posted September 19, 2008 Author Posted September 19, 2008 Thanks Rob I would think it could be the driver but x-associate of mine did it once on the system I'm using now and it worked. Of course I forgot how he did it. Rockford Quote
