I believe an overzealous cleanup of my computer deleted a registry file that caused Autocad to crash frequently. I ran the program repair and it fixed the crashing problem, but my toolbars were missing. When I open up the CUI and try to do anything at all, I get an error message that says Write permission denied. Unable to create:'C\Documents and Settings\Release Engineer.MACROVISION\ ApplicationData\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2007\R170.0\enu\support\acad.cui'. I unistalled/reinstalled Autocad and downloaded the SP2 for Autocad 2007, but the issue remains.

Some Registry cleaners are a tad overzealous.

Did you also somehow deny yourself admin rights?

I turned off the UAC and everything is working fine. Now to figure out how to block Autocad from UAC control so I can turn it back on....Any ideas?
