dashed/hidden parcel lines

Is there a trick to making parcel lines show up properly if the linetype is dashed or hidden? It seems like every time I change the linetype to dashed/hidden/phantom that it prints as continuous.

Are you printing from model space or a layout?

 

Most linetype scale problems can be traced to LTSCALE and PSLTSCALE.

I am plotting from layout. I tried to change my linetype scale to .01 (that usually works) but i keep having trouble with the parcel lines. I will Google those commands and see what happens. Thanks!

If you are using the standard linetype definitions, an LTSCALE of 0.01 should be creating dashes that are so small you would have to zoom in incredibly close to see them, and the printed output would look continuous.

 

Usually, linetypes look right if you have MSLTSCALE=1, PSLTSCALE=1, and LTSCALE=1 or LTSCALE=0.5.
