Adding a picture on a face

Does anyone know how to add a picture to one face of (for example) a box ?

I believe you can apply a .jpg as a Material and adjust the tiling and scaling to suit your needs.

from Cad64 "You can still apply a material to a single face, the procedure is just a little different. In order to apply a material to just one face, you must first hold down the Ctrl key, then click on your material, in the Materials Browser, and hold down your left mouse button. Now drag and drop on the face where you want the material applied. But the secret is to hold down the Ctrl key first."
