2010 Crome material not working :( help.

The title says it all. Im applying the crome auto cad material and it just keeps coming up as white. please help me out. i have a project due soon.

Is this when you run Render - or just what you normally see on screen?

Have you added/edited any lighting?

Is your graphics card/driver supported?

it only happens when I render. I have put lights on it..

Looks like you need to adjust the user-added lighting. Can be maddening. Maybe someone here will suggest a source of information on proper lighting techniques.

Can you post some screenshots, of your render, material properties and render settings?

This is what it looks like. it should be Gray legs but its not.. its white.

That's because your background is white. Chrome is highly reflective, just like a mirror, so it's going to reflect it's environment. Change your background color or place some objects next to the chair and you will see their reflection in the chrome.
