shift1313 Posted November 26, 2010 Share Posted November 26, 2010 Hey calibos, you want to remove the Blue section in my screenshot you posted. This will let you keep the purple section. Now the sketch in SW doesnt go past the surface which may or may not cause a problem in inventor, i cant remember. If so extend your spline so it goes to the edge or your surface. Let me know if that works for you. Sorry ive had an issue with my inventor install and cant open it or i would be able to take a look at your file for you. shift1313 Posted November 26, 2010 Share Posted November 26, 2010 you can use a Loft in Inventor and it will be the same result. Boundary Surface in SW allows me to use Start/end curves and guide rails in any fashion. So one curve one guide(like a sweep but with 3d curves), or like a loft with a guide.
