I'm trying to model a Yard shed I plan on erecting next weekend, and I'm trying to subtract one of my Rafters(1) from one of the wall rails(2), and it won't let me.

I get a; Select objects: No solids, surfaces, or regions selected.

Here's a picture of the model, and I will attach the .DWG file aswell.

Notes: All studs, Rafters, Rails etc were created with the 3D>BOX command.

According to the properties, all the studs and rafters are blocks, and become meshes when exploded. I don't work with meshes, but something seems amis if you created them as 3D solids?

I've created them all using the 3D>Box commands, and then blocked them.

Well that approach isn't going to work. You need to recreate them as solids and NOT block them.

If you created them with the BOX command, why is it that when I run BEDIT and open a block in the block editor, they are polyface meshes?
