Preciosu21 Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 I have a drawing that somehow became corrupted, this being said i have had to start from scratch and I have copied over everything, and exported and reimported all my points. In the corrupted drawing I had already spend days rotating these points so they are all legible but when I imported them into the new drawing it brought them in unrotated. Is there a way to copy/export points and bring them into another drawing rotated as they were or is this a loss cause. I have tried a .csv file and an .xml file and neither work? Please help Quote
BIGAL Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Sounds like you have two different UCS settings make sure both are set to W world before copying and pasting. Quote
sinc Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Point rotation is not included when exporting points to CSV or LandXML. You can use the COPY and PASTE commands to copy them between drawings, and the rotation should be unchanged. However, when using copy-and-paste, the labels will be reset and will not remain in the dragged state. Quote
CyberAngel Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Can't you redefine the point label style to display the labels at the proper angle? It may take a while to adjust the offsets and line them up, but that's got to be faster than rotating each point. Quote
