ReMark Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 You cannot open a PDF file in AutoCAD. You can, however, attach it as an image and trace over it. Quote
ccowgill Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 and if it is a vector pdf (as opposed to a raster pdf) you can even snap to points on linework. Quote

Cad64 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Mateen, your profile says 2011, and you made no mention of 2007 in your original post. In order to keep us from wasting our time providing you with information that is not relevant to your situation, please update your profile or include ALL relevant information when asking your questions. Cad64 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Here try this: http://mdouglas.blogs.com/in_the_dynamic_interface/2006/03/autocad_2007_dw.html There are instructions on how to plot your PDF to DWF which you can then insert into your CAD file with the DWFATTACH command. Quote

The ability to attach a pdf, I think was added in a 2010 subscription bonus pack, and as part of AutoCAD 2011, if we knew that this problem was regarding 2007, we would have provided other solutions.
