You cannot open a PDF file in AutoCAD. You can, however, attach it as an image and trace over it.

and if it is a vector pdf (as opposed to a raster pdf) you can even snap to points on linework.

but the thing is that i can't attach pdf file on auto cad how can i trace over it.

ok thanks but i use in auto cad 2007 in my office. so i think sheet set manager option is not in auto cad 2007. but i will check.

you are saying right i use 2011 in my personal computer but i use in 2007 in my office and i gave personal data in this forum.

no, that isnt quite the issue, the issue is that we gave you a solution based on the only information available, AutoCAD 2011. The ability to attach a pdf, I think was added in a 2010 subscription bonus pack, and as part of AutoCAD 2011, if we knew that this problem was regarding 2007, we would have provided other solutions.
