clicker Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I am working in Autocad 2008 basic question, but this happens to be a lot. Sometimes I can't fillet two lines, because the lines are non-coplanar. Is there a fix for this? Quote
ReMark Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Try using the FLATTEN command. That should get everything to elevation "0". Quote

irneb Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 To "avoid" this problem in the future (well mostly avoid), you can do the following: In the Options dialog, Drafting tab, check the "Replace Z value with current elevation" box in the bottom left. This will draw all new lines with z=0 from then on. Not always nice if you do work in 3D, but for 2D it helps a lot. I wish ADesk would have the fillet command work with the PROJMODE sysvar as Trim and Extend does. Then at least you can filled non-coplanar lines - polylines would obviously not work too well though.
