but the moment i copy any block from this block drawing to any other drawing , my autocad screen gets hang. it says "duplicate definition of block _open90 ignore" and after this i tried searching for that block and deleting it from my block drawing but wen i say purge. it doesnt get purged . and i am not able to purge that block . i tried all possible options , googled through this issue but found no solution. finally i am here writing you all about this problem.. pls show me a solution.

some one please help me in this issue cos it takes a lot of time to paste those blocks

i beleive "open90" is a tick block for a dimension string...if the dimension style is in both drawings then you want be able to purge it...

I would insert _open90 block somewhere in the drawing. Now explode it. Now list what is left behind. Is it a block named _open90? If so then you will need to edit the _open90 block so you don't have a block within a block with the same name. No need to have a block within a block so edit it to remove that.
