Mark_CV3D Posted December 15, 2010 Posted December 15, 2010 Hi! I have a question about labeling a corridor. I have a corridor which I want to label in plane view with it´s z-values every 10 meter. Does anyone here knows the trick how to do that? I don´t want to manually check every 10m for the height and write it in mtext.. I have attached an example of what I want to achieve.. Quote

Have you tried the copy comand? U still have to change the numbers if they are changed. Quote
Mark_CV3D Posted December 15, 2010 Author Posted December 15, 2010 Hello! Yes but I want the labels to automatically change height value if the corridors profile is changed. Quote
nextvkin Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 You can make an attributed block with fields - check out this site - http://indydrafter.com/autocad-fields-with-blocks/ Quote
Mark_CV3D Posted December 16, 2010 Author Posted December 16, 2010 The alternatives that I already have is to use height labeling of a surface, but that means i must click on every place where I want my height-labels. But they do place the right z-value autmatic and they are dynamic. But they dont appear automatically along the alignemant at a user specific frequency. The other alternative is to use cogo points along the alignement, and set it to show each points z-value. This method works pefect, except for one thing and that is that I cant change frequency-range for the cogo-points.. they automatically appear each 1,5 meter. Does anyone know how to change this frequency? Quote
