Mack062
When trying to create text emboss. I created a new workplane, new sketch, text box and when hit enter it appears upside down and backwards. Flip normal only corrects the backwards part. Is it possible to edit coordinate, if so how? This has happened once before but it was on a flat surface and I just created the text and extruded but this time it is on a curved surface. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using Inventor 11 (2007) I don't use it very much but would like too.
JD Mather
Flip normal only corrects the backwards part. Add one dimension to the textbox. You should now be able to grab the lower left corner and drag it right-side up (or any desired angle). Then add horizontal (or vertical) constraint as appropriate to the textbox. This information is covered here http://home.pct.edu/~jmather/AU2006/MA13-3%20Mather.pdf with picture illustrations.
