Insert Autocad drawing to Microsoft Word document

I need to insert some autocad drawings into a microsoft word document for a project i'm doing. Does anyone know how to do this? i have tried plotting to PDF and inserting it but it doesnt work:( Thanks in advance for any help

Have you tried exporting it as a .wmf file? You could also use the wmfout command.

I have figured out away to insert it as a pdf:) they make it confusing! thanks for your help

It's your choice. I don't see what is so confusing about using a file type that was purposely created to work in Windows-based programs though.

If AutoCAD will be on the destination machine you can put the dwg directly into Word doc or Powerpoint.
