Hogfan Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Can anyone tell me where i can find some section views of crown molding? I'm not real picky on the type and size just some variation would be nice. i have to show it details on 2d drawings and i dont have any, so any help would be appreciated. Quote
ReMark Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) You cannot go wrong with this website. They have profiles of millwork in dwg and pdf formats. More profiles than you can use in a single day. You'll find Crown mouldings in the list on the far right. Click on the word Crown to open the various profiles available. Enjoy. http://www.hornermillwork.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=53&Itemid=168&phpMyAdmin=c01ec63c2695660e4cb746556fe1c1f8 Edited December 29, 2010 by ReMark Quote

ReMark Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 (edited) DV: I found the site in response to Hogfan's question. I went looking for mouldings not doors so I am at a loss to explain what is happening in your case. All I can offer at this time is to take a look when I have a moment. Update: I revisited the site. I went to the CAD Library > Doors > Panel Doors > 8001 and download the dwg file. I was able to open it with no problem. Please tell me which door you downloaded that you are having a problem with. Thanks. Edited December 30, 2010 by ReMark Quote
daft vader Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Tried that door and most of the rest Remark they all do the same yet everything else on that site seems to be fine its just the doors I can not open ? , never had this happen when getting DWG's before, is it because im in the uk or something stupid like that ? Error "AutoCAD Alert The NLS files required to convert the text entities and symbol table names in your drawing from code page ANSI_949 to ANSI_1252 cannot be found or are not installed in your system. AutoCAD can only try to convert text entities and symbol table names using the default system code page; however this might result in a loss of information. To install the missing NLS files, double-click the Regional Settings icon in the Windows Control Panel " click on what control panel and do what I have no idea what it means ? Quote
