ReMark Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Wouldn't you have to mask off what's behind the viewport? Quote
afrazawan Posted January 5, 2011 Author Posted January 5, 2011 this is drawing i wnt to show this part in over layout in big scale how pls use sample english then i ll understand easly how can i put mask tel me commond Quote
BIGAL Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Try draw a pline outline of outside but with a sq inside like a old fashioned key then use MV P polygon to trace over but this leaves a keyhole of no plot area which you make a 2nd plot window to make sq Quote
afrazawan Posted January 5, 2011 Author Posted January 5, 2011 please send me screen shoot and try to use easy english im not english man im Pakistani i ca'nt understand ur english use sample word for understanding me Quote
Tiger Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Red and large text does not help mate, it only makes it look like you are shouting and noone likes to be shouted at, right? Right. A mask such as ReMark mentioned could be done with the command WIPEOUT. You can then place the new Viewport on top of the wipeout. I think Bigal is saying that you can use the Polygon option in the MVIEW command to create a viewport with a hole in it, try it out. Quote
afrazawan Posted January 5, 2011 Author Posted January 5, 2011 plse can u send me screen display how im trying but i coud'nt put viewport on WIPEOUT pls help me how can i show it Quote
ReMark Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 The gray image in the background, is it a jpg? Yes? Then create a second, smaller viewport on top of the larger viewport and change the scale. One viewport of a jpg overlapping a second viewport of a jpg will effectively block out what is behind it. Quote
ReMark Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Sorry about the image quality but I hope this illustrates the point I made in my previous post. Large viewport scale is 1:10. The smaller viewport has a scale of 1:20. Quote
