helen Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 Does anyone know how to export transparent hatches in a 2d cad drawing to photoshop? I have exported it as an eps file but in photoshop its blocking out objects because its not transparent... Quote

helen Posted January 7, 2011 Author Posted January 7, 2011 Cad doesnt export as tiff does it? Im beginning to wonder how anyone gets their autocad images to exist anywhere else other than autocad. I mean how do those professional pictures get into any other format other than dwg? Magazines articles, websites, ..what the magic? Quote
daft vader Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 plot/publish to png will work I think as thats what I use when saying any transparents in photoshop, not tried from autocad to photoshop but give it ago Quote
Cad64 Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 You can't export transparent hatches to .eps. Just export your linework to .eps, open it in Photoshop and create your transparency there. Quote
helen Posted January 10, 2011 Author Posted January 10, 2011 Unfortunately cad doesnt offer a png option... Quote
