jackson6612 Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Hi As far as my knowledge ACAD couldn't be used for simulations. I need to play with some basic electronic circuits - e.g lighting a red diode, buld etc. Which software should I use? The should be easy to learn. Is this possible in later versions of ACAD or specific versions such as ACAD electrical? Please guide me. Quote
ReMark Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 No, plain AutoCAD will not do it as far as I know. I don't think AutoCAD Electrical can do it either. Maybe Inventor or Solidworks? Quote

I don't know much about any of them, but you can give them a try. One can be found here: http://bwrc.eecs.berkeley.edu/Classes/IcBook/SPICE/ There are others. Do an internet search for "electronic circuit simulator" and you'll find them. Quote
