FieldGuyonCAD Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Architects always have an elegant way of calling out section and elevation views on plans; however, I cannot seem to find a tool on autocad to give me some a symbol. How do you call out your sections/elevations to make your drawing look professional? Thanks! Quote

CyberAngel Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 (edited) There are standards, I suppose, but I've seen several different ways of doing that. There is no specific tool in AutoCAD as far as I know. I use a multileader with a block and attributes to identify sections. To clarify (I missed both of ReMark's posts): when you define a multileader style, there is the option to use a block instead of text. One of the standard blocks is a section bubble. You may have to redefine the block to fit your standards, but it works for me. I'd check on the Tool Palette idea, but right now my CAD is in a COMA. Edited January 17, 2011 by CyberAngel Quote
