ACAD 2006.

Is there a way to batch plot/publish to pdf format.

When I create pdf's I go thru the page setup and it works fine for one page at a time but when I try to publish using the same page setup it sends the drawings to the plotter. I know ACAD 2011 has pdf as an option if you select multiple layouts and right click but I can't afford to buy it yet.

Well I always use publish and select all my layouts and use Acrobat as my PDF printer. Sounds like you need to set up a PDF page setup in the Plot window. Set it up to print your PDF and use publish and print all of you layouts to this page setup.

I also have a page setup where my PDF printer is used to batchplot to PDF file. We save all page setups in the Xref file for the TitleBlock so everyone's plots will look the same in the office. Then I just import the page setup after selecting all the layouts I want to make PDF's of.

Do you have to specify the file path and file name for each layout with Acrobat? I recently upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7, and my old PDF 995 is no longer compatible. Having to designate a folder and file name each time is killing me when I have to make 200 PDFs :(
