Figure prefix database does not exist and could not be recreated

Anybody ever had this error? The file is in the proper location. I used this a few days ago with no problem. Any ideas? Thanks!

One more thing is it won't even let me create a new figure prefix database. It says, "The figure prefix database does not exist and could not be recreated.

I saw this once. When it happened, a "Figures.fdb.compacted" file had mysteriously appeared beside my "Figures.fdb" file. I deleted the "Figures.fdb.compacted" file, and everything returned to normal.

Thanks for replying, Sinc. I don't have the "compacted" file, so I just copied someone else's Sample.fdb and started over. I did learn that you can edit these files with MS Access. That makes re-creating the file a lot faster.
