DCL Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Hi all, new here. I am having a problem with a delay in selecting an object and selecting a command. When I select an object the pointer has at least a 3 second delay before it starts moving around normally again. It is the same with selecting a command. This has started to get tedious. It has worked fine in the past so I don't think it is a RAM/graphics card problem. Can anyone help? Cheers Quote
Tiger Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 is it just with particular files? are they huge? How about in a fresh file that you haven't drawn in? Quote
rkent Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Dock your command line. Turn off palette transparency. HTH Quote
DCL Posted September 29, 2008 Author Posted September 29, 2008 I carried out both of those suggestions (thanks rkent) but it didn't make a difference. I then switched off the properties palette and it now works fine. What is that all about? Is that a RAM/graphics card issue? Quote
BUrBaKy Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 Same problem here. I think it's the graphics card. You can check if it's autodesk certified here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/cert?siteID=123112&id=16391880 I disabled DYN - Dynamic Input ( F12 ) and works smoother now. Quote
