Basically, I am taking autocad class for my degree, and never ran across this problem before til now. Someone has well screwed with all the settings on well everything and nothing works right. Is there a command you can use or something that can reset all settings etc. back to default like it was when it was just installed? Thank you for any help.

Really? You think someone sabotaged your AutoCAD? If you describe the problem, I think it's likely that we could help you fix it, but if all your interested in doing is "resetting" AutoCAD to it's default state; Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > AutoCAD2010 > Change/Remove > Repair.

You could try a new profile, create a shortcut on the desktop for autocad, or copy an existing one, then in the target line add or replace the profile shortcut, /p profile name, change whatever it is to /p new profile (or whatever makes sense. Use that to start autocad.
