Kobbe Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Hello again! I use autocad 2011 but want light background like in 2010. I have fixed this but when i select objects the lines around them are very light and I can barely see them! I also noticed that I can't see (they are gone) the lines if I zoom out a bit or in a bit. It have to be some sort of range were u can see them, right? Mine are way to short. I have to be in the perfect sweetspot to see them. If i move the camera 100-200 units in our out the are gone. It is not like this on the same drawing on my other computer! Quote
CyberAngel Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Have you tried this? Go to your Options window, Selection tab. Press the Visual Effect Settings button. See if your window selection color is close to your background color. If so, change it to something with better contrast. Quote
nestly Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 If your background and crosshairs are both "white" , AutoCAD will automatically reverse the colors of the crosshairs so they appear "black" on the white background, but other features such as the XYZ markers and the Aperture box may still display as white (invisible). This is also the case for the selection window borders if SELECTIONAREA is 1 Either change your crosshairs to something other than "white" or turn off the selection area colors. Quote
