Ahankhah Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Hello friends, does any one know how it is possible to change encoding of AutoCAD? As I know it is saved in DWGCODEPAGE and SYSCODEPAGE, but both of them are read-only. Also I know that SYSCODEPAGE reads its value from ACAD.XMF file, but I didn't find any file with this name on my PC and I don't know how the format of this kind of file should be. I will be very gratefull if anyone can help and guide me. Mehrdad Ahankhah www.acad.ws www.IranCAD.com Quote
Grant Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Don't know if it helps but I found this: http://docs.autodesk.com/ACD/2010/ENU/AutoCAD%202010%20User%20Documentation/files/WS1a9193826455f5ffa23ce210c4a30acaf-4e5f.htm Quote
Ahankhah Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 Thank you very much Grant, it seems that my problem must be resolved from a way other than changing SYSCODEPAGE. I will explain that in another thread. Thank you again for your reply. Quote
