Hello everybody,

I need help customizing a complex linetype. I created one with text in it, and looks almost like I need it. Almost. I need a longer continuous line between the repetition of text. I tried changing the different paramentrs with no success.

Any suggestion is much appreciated.

It might help if you post your linetype definition here so we can take a look at it otherwise we're just guessing.

ReMark,

good idea!

A,20,10,["%%81",CommercialPiBT,S=45,R=0,X=5,y=1],45

I need more space between the rectangles.

Thank you!

A while back I posted a template with the description of each variable in parentheses, I'll see if I can dig it up

The first number (20 in this case) is the relative size of the line segment. If you want longer segments, increase that number until you have something you like.

Don't forget to save the linetype definition file and reload the definition every time you make a change. It doesn't happen automatically. That's a holdover from the DOS days.

Good call, I'll post the code template anyway just in case you need to fiddle with anything else ClaCad:

*(Linetype),(Description)
A,(Dash size),(Space between first set of dashes and text),["(Text)",(Text style),S=(Text size),R=(rotation),X=(x distance),Y=(y distance)],(space between text and second set of dashes)
