simo2006 Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Hello, In Architect drawing there is Rectangle Box in bottom right showing the title of the drawing and date, how can i do that and how can i print them like that as well ? Thank you Quote
ReMark Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 That's called a title box and you can draw one up yourself if you'd like. Take a look around. I'm sure you'll come across many examples of different types of title blocks and borders. The title block and border prints at the same time as the rest of the drawing. The only difference is that they should be inserted into a layout. The building you're working on is drawn in model space. Quote
simo2006 Posted September 25, 2008 Author Posted September 25, 2008 I have drawen building in the model but when i go layout it dosent appear with that box Quote
hotrodz0321 Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 AutoCAD comes with standard title blocks. Find one you like and modify it. In layout, type INSERT and browse for that title block. then hit ok once you found it. Quote
Nellie Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Double click inside the box (drawing window) the type z enter and e enter (zoom & extends). It's not to scale but you'll be able to see it and scale it from there. If you want to know how to scale just yell. Quote
ReMark Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Once you have your title block and border inserted in your layout that is where you want to plot from to get a finished sheet. Have you inserted a title block and border yet? Can you see it in your layout? Do you realize that to see your building over in model space that you'll need to use a viewport? Quote
