Convert DXF to image (linux webserver)

I wonder if you guys might be able to help...

 

I have developed a server application that generates DXF files from data inputted via the browser, now I would like to be able to convert the DXF to an image format (jpg, gif, png) for inclusion in a PDF.

 

To give you some background the server is Linux/apache/php and I would need to execute this from PHP, so command line interface is a must if there is no php class that can handle this...

 

I did look at the usual PHP image libraries but couldn't find anything that would support DXF.
