I'm new to 3d drawing. How can I setup my screen like this?

You can use the Viewports command.

Number of viewports: four.

Setup: 3D

Change view and Visual style options are up to you.

Pick the Fit option once you are back in your drawing.

I can't believe I missed that. Thank you!

If you want to make the viewports into 2D drawings use SOLVIEW to start your setup, then to create 2D use SOLDRAW and SOLPROF depending on what you need.

I would have agreed with the above post in the past because that's the way I used to do it too but I tried and tested two new (for me anyway) ways and I think they might come in handy for the majority of the people here who desire to go from a 3D object to creating 2D views. One way is via the FLATSHOT command. The other way is via the SECTIONPLANE command. Let me know if either of these interest you. I have a PDF that explains the procedure. And "no" I am not the author.

I aint a changing my ways, I sometimes will do it the ReMark(able) way, I can just do so much so fast with SOLVIEW, especially using SOLPROF I can quickly do 2D views of a single part in the 3D model, also a point, that I like, which may not suit everyone is SOLVIEW creates layers for each view. As my current scope of work has changed from what I have done in the past, I maybe using FLATSHOT more than in the past.

Ah yes, SOLPROF. Yep, use that too.

SLW210: Do you use FLATTEN at all for creating 2D views? I keep forgetting it has that capability and think only to use it when someone asks how to get all their linework back to a Z-elevation of 0.

I have found FLATTEN to not work very well for setting all to Z=0, I have a button,

^C^C_UCS;;_move _all;;0,0,1e99;;_move _all;;0,0,-1e99;;_chprop;_all;;_thickness;0;;^M;
Works a lot better.
