I have been working on the same project, same file, etc, for at least two months, and randomly when I plotted it the other day, I realized all the lineweights were the same.

I am working for a firm in AutoCAD Architecture 2008, using all the standards everyone in the firm is using. No plot styles have changed, no layers have changed, nothing. When on other people's computers in the office, it does the same, so it is obviously a problem with the project files.

I can go into more detail, but I don't know where to start, since everyone in my office using the same plot styles and layers is having no trouble at all.

Any ideas?? Has anyone had this happen before?

I have no brilliant replies, but common lineweight troubles I've encountered include:

- Lineweight settings in the Layer Management box were set to a lineweight number instead of Default.

- Lines in the drawing were set to a lineweight number instead of By Layer. Select everything in the drawing and check the pulldown box on the Object Properties tool bar to make sure they're on By Layer.

- Try starting over on the lineweight settings file with one of the default CTB files, especially Monochrome.

- In Page Setup, try fiddling with Scale Lineweights, make sure your print scale is set to 1:1, and try fiddling with the Plot Area settings.

Sorry if those are all things you've already tried, but sometimes they work!
