Hello all,

We've recently purchased a plotter and are making a move from an 11x17 format to D-sized sheets. Is there any way to combine multiple layout tabs within the same file?

If it helps, here's some background:

I'm in the tradeshow exhibit industry. We model everything in 3D, produce construction drawings for the exhibit (in-house construction), and then we produce set-up drawings for show-floor folks. We may or may not change these set-up drawings for each show, depending on the layout and client request.

We had an HP650C (circa 1990?). It was easier and faster to produce several smaller sheets than a single large one, so that's what I did. I've got several set-up packages that I'd like to change from 11x17 (40+ pages :?) to D-size.

To date, the only success I've had in combining tabs is to copy / paste, but I lose all layer formatting (all layers turn on in each pasted viewport: very bad news... :x).

This is more of a want than a serious need. If it's not reasonable to combine tabs, we'll leave most of the sheets as 11x17 and live with it.

Thanks,

Jay M
