RMI423 Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 at some point during final editing of my drawing, my MTEXT using the ttf font (lucidia console), decided to turn itself bold. 1. the Z is @ 0.0000 - so thats not it 2. visual style is 2d wireframe 3. tried FLATTEN - no change every recommendation I found on this site so far did not work.changing the font is not really an option, I may just have to live with it bold. using ACAD2011 Quote
ReMark Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Did you check the setting for Font Style in the Text Style dialog box? Quote
ReMark Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 the Font style is standard Please try again. Your answer is incorrect. You have given me the TEXT Style not the FONT style. Look to the right just past the entry for the FONT Name. Quote
ReMark Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 the FONT style is regular Thank you. You do see where it could be set to Bold here so this is one place to always check. Is your text on its own layer? Quote
ReMark Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 the text is on its own layer OK. And is there a LINEWEIGHT assigned to that particular layer? Have you plotted this drawing yet or are you basing your question on what you are currently seeing on your monitor? Quote
RMI423 Posted February 22, 2011 Author Posted February 22, 2011 yes the lineweight is (by layer) default .25 yes i plotted the layout and it was fine(no bold), then I was working on a 3d model (in a viewport in the layout).the next time I plotted it the text was bold. Quote
ReMark Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Have you tried resetting the lineweight to see what, if anything, happens? Quote
