CiCAD Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Is there some sort of command where i can "dismantle" or Seperate parts so as they can be seen in ismetric view? with out actually moving the parts manually? Does this make sense? Quote

ReMark Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Whatever you do don't use the EXPLODE command. It's for something entirely different. Exploded views can be done using Inventor rather easily I believe but in AutoCAD you have to work at it. Sorry. Quote

Use a separate layer for each part. Go into a layout and create a view port, get the scale and view set the way you want it. Freeze all but one layer. Copy the viewport, freeze and thaw layers, keep making a copy of the viewport and adjusting the layers to show another part,..... Not too bad if you only have a few parts. Quote
