Dennis Posted February 25, 2011 Posted February 25, 2011 Hy, I use autocad 2011 LT and I have some problem with polar streching! I have to get from A(see picture) to B but C is always happening! I want to put in an angle in te propertieswindow so that I become B. the angle is variable but the midle stays the same lengt! Can anyone help me? Quote
Grant Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 I don't think there is a solution for what you are trying to do, The only thing I can suggest is to look at Parametric dimensioning and see if you can get it working with that, then try putting it into a dynamic block. Hope this helps Quote
Sittingbull Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Hi Dennis, This is the only thing i could come up with. It's not wath we could cal a proper solution, but it does the trick. The angle is restricted, maybe you could fine tune it a bit. Drawing1.dwg Regards, SB Quote
Dennis Posted March 1, 2011 Author Posted March 1, 2011 Hey, Tanks guys you've been a great help! tank you for the reply! Dennis Quote
SLW210 Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Try using constraints, visibility, chained actions, linear stretch. You might want to consider breaking it down into more than 1 line. I have lots of work and do not have time to draw you a block, if I get time I will check into it. It is very doable, one way or the other, visibility would be easiest. Quote
