Hy,

 

I use autocad 2011 LT and I have some problem with polar streching!

I have to get from A(see picture) to B but C is always happening! I want to put in an angle in te propertieswindow so that I become B. the angle is variable but the midle stays the same lengt! Can anyone help me?

I don't think there is a solution for what you are trying to do, The only thing I can suggest is to look at Parametric dimensioning and see if you can get it working with that, then try putting it into a dynamic block.

Hi Dennis,

 

 

This is the only thing i could come up with.

It's not wath we could cal a proper solution, but it does the trick.

The angle is restricted, maybe you could fine tune it a bit.

Try using constraints, visibility, chained actions, linear stretch. You might want to consider breaking it down into more than 1 line. I have lots of work and do not have time to draw you a block, if I get time I will check into it. It is very doable, one way or the other, visibility would be easiest.
