Scale in X-direction ONLY

How do I scale an image in the X-direction but not the Y-direction.

I found the solution. Turn your drawing into a block, then when inserting the block you can set the scale in the X,Y, and Z directions seperatly.

Hi,

 

I tried this on my end however, scale does not give the exact size in "Inches", I want to set the image for the tile of 2'x1', the was of in size of 10" length and 8" breadth when I initially inserted through "attach Image" option, i converted into this a Block and while inserting what I should put in x and Y to get the block with size of 2' x 1' .. please help... thanks for your help
